My son and I are trying to resurrect the Banff and District Pipe Band that folded in the 1960s. There are no bands in the area providing the training for slow learners or older folks who fancy a go. We need to attract more learners and players and to do that we need kilts. Are there any bands out there who might be throwing out used kilts or other items of uniform? I love the Scots Magazine ! Congratulations on the new look. I was born and raised in Edinburgh and now live in Western North Carolina, USA. The very interesting articles about modern Scots are great !! I especially love the hikes in Scotland articles as I live in the Smokey Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway and hike twice a week. I look forward to hiking in Scotland next year. Keep up the great work.
